This screen-print, 'After The Flood' from 1981 was a very small edition; less than 20. It was intensely difficult to print with about 40 different screens and pulls. I think I started out with about 30 sheets and lost more than 10 in the process. However, it won 1st prize at a national print exhibition at Cal Poly in Pomona Ca. There are still about 4 left in my inventory. 25"x 41" $985 + shipping

This is one of the first 'paper inlays' done by Dave in the early 1980s. Screen-printed Arches paper was cut up and re-assembled on gator-foam board. The process is NOT collage where you have paper glued over other paper but is more like marquetry or mosaic where every piece is 'fitted' together, edge to edge. The process is very labor intensive, and requires great precision.
This piece measures 35" across and is one of a kind, ready for hanging and available for purchase: $2800. +shipping

Over the next few months I will post a broad variety of images of my art from 1979 to the present. There are a lot of different kinds of work and most everything i put up is for sale. I was deeply involved in printmaking between 1980 and 1987 and many of the works, like this one below are part of a series of serigraphic (silk-screen) monoprints that I produced by using the same stencil and painting into the screens so that each print is a unique piece. This print was "After the Fact Of Fire". It was shown at the Los Angeles county Museum in 1986.
