This was a hard year for the entire world - it goes without saying. Early 2020, I lost my drive to make music, which led me to put my hustle down for an indefinite amount of time. It's still a struggle I'm dealing with, only compounded by the pandemic. However, for everything I lost in music this year, I more than made up for in the world of art. This first challenge of mine really shows the progress I've made since I started drawing over two decades ago 🔥🔥
2020 showed me I had the ability to bring back my childhood passion of drawing creatures. 2020 rekindled my love of paleontology, evolution, and zoology - all of which have greatly improved my creature design philosophies. 2020 proved that my art could speak to a community and inspire others. Most importantly, 2020 showed me just how blessed I am to have people like each and every one of you in my life.
If you have ever said (or even thought of) a remotely positive thing about my art, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Nothing I accomplished this year would be possible without your support, encouragement, and enthusiasm towards the things I love to do. 2021 is going to be a road of recovery for many people, and we all have bright futures ahead of us. Stay positive, and keep an eye out for some awesome new art (and music) that I've got coming your way!!
