Biggest congratulations to Moonlight Press artist Favianna Rodriguez on being awarded the California Arts Council Legacy Artist Fellowship!!! This award recognizes Favianna’s incredible work in socially engaged art highlighting and uplifting the diverse communities of our beloved city of Oakland and bringing attention to some of the biggest social and environmental issues of our time through her vibrant creations and unwavering activism! I’m proud to have been collaborating with Favianna for the last 12+ years and it was an absolute blast creating her most recent suite of etchings in the shop earlier this year. Please show her some big love!!! 👏 💥 🧨 👊 🌈 🦋 🌱
