I grew up with little posey vases on shelves and in corners with a sweet cuttings from the garden.

Lifting a room, catching just the right light.
In corners, on ledges, on windowsills, and often by my bed.

Not elaborate, not fancy.
Simple and beautiful.
My sweet mum making a home.
Her way to say I love you.
Her way that felt just right.
I miss her.

My posey collection will be on view at my studio during Marin Open Studios.

Shout out to Leslie Evers who is one of my favorite local Oakland designers. Her store is my go to for the best pants, shirts, and all things bright.

My friends keep telling me my work and Lesley Evers clothing are a perfect match.

What do you reckon?

I’m going to swing by the store and say hi and see if my work could hang in her beautiful store.

Open studios was this weekend and I was there with my Lesley shirt on one day and my fave black top the next - cute bag in the photo was an absolute bonus that my friend (another a Lesley fan) spotted in my studio.
