Yosemite Cinema Yosemite Cinema's subscription model allows members to watch Unlimited Movies! Day Passes Available Established in 2013.

Movie Heroes took the theatrical world by storm when they launched a Netflix-style theatrical membership model to save their local theater. The former owners closed the theater in 2012, shocking the community. Matt Sconce and Keith Walker, childhood friends, with their friend James Nelson, created a plan to save the theater. They not only saved the theater and were able to re-open it, but were also surprised by the extremely positive unexpected results of the conversion to a membership model. Now, with almost 4,000 members, their five-screen, first-run theater is a destination for local patrons and tourists alike. Movie Heroes transforms movie going by bringing excellence to the viewing experience and creating a place of freedom where cost is not a consideration in watching a movie. Come visit us for an awesome cinema experience with a newly remodeled interior, welcoming staff, our famously delicious popcorn, and of course...epic movies. Yosemite VR is the only permanent Positron Powered Virtual Reality theater in the United States. The groundbreaking experience is narrated by Bryan Cranston. Yosemite VR also shows many other Virtual Experiences, that rotate like the movies at the theater.

It’s fun to be creepy. 🖤
From producer James Wan and director Rob Savage, Other Mommy follows a young girl whose relationship with a sinister entity brings terror into her home—and it looks uncannily like her own mother.

Starring Jessica Chastain, it’s the perfect October film for a chilling night at the movies.

See Other Mommy at Yosemite Cinema starting October 9. Rated R.
