We are absolutely devastated.
Last night we received the call that The Snowline was on fire. By morning, this iconic place, that we felt so blessed and grateful to be able wrote a chapter of its history, and worked so hard to make you all proud, was reduced to nothing left but ash.
We feel incredibly lucky to have been a small part of this building’s long story. The Snowline belonged to Oakhurst long before it belonged to us, and being trusted with such an iconic piece of this community—getting to pour our own love into it, bring it back to life, and add a chapter to its history—was something we will never take for granted.
Restoring The Snowline was truly a labor of love shared by our families, partners, and this community— from laying flooring on our hands and knees, to choosing every detail and creating an atmosphere we hoped would bring joy to everyone who walked through our doors. It was more than a restaurant—it was a place filled with years of memories, celebrations, birthdays, weddings, first dates, and so much more. This loss is being felt by not only our families, but the entire community, and we are heartbroken alongside all of you.
More than anything, we are incredibly grateful that no one was injured. We are so thankful for the firefighters, first responders, and every person who stepped in to help.
Our employees are especially heavy on our hearts. We love and appreciate our Snowline family so much. If any local businesses have employment opportunities available, please reach out—we would be incredibly grateful for any help supporting our team.
The fire is still under investigation. If anyone saw or heard anything suspicious, no matter how small, please contact local authorities.
Please keep our family, our partners, our team, and the Oakhurst community in your thoughts and prayers. Our hearts are broken, but we are so grateful for all of the love surrounding us. ❤️
