It’s time to vacate the premises and head to our happy place! Buffalo River in Arkansas here we come! We’re taking on a new adventure this time around and canoeing down the Buffalo river and tenting up along the way down. I’m so excited and my sweetheart is doing what he does best which is planning EVERYTHING lol. I can’t wait to share all of our stories and pics after our trip. So excited!!!

Sweet Magnolia! One finally bloomed low enough for me to get to it. This is a flower I continue to study and play with. It is one of my favorite flowers and so much fun to paint. I painted 2 variations for my mother this year and will post those soon. Time to start a new magnolia painting!

The evolution of a painting…. 🤔
I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted it to be so I painted the first version and literally set aside for months. If you know, you know lol. 🤦🏻‍♀️
So this is how it started, where it is as of 6 am this morning and a close up of some details.
Also, I’m just blown away at the difference in how the light changes the colors. I took one under my porch and one out in my yard. Crazy huh?
