is the name of my home studio and stained glass designs. I tumbled in to this unique field of art and craft right out of High School. In addition to years of traditional training in fabrication, I spent 15 years working on large-scale projects. Stained Glass encompasses my skilled training but Glass Actions aesthetic is much different. I'm a long-time portrait maker as well and I use traditional stained glass fabrication techniques, and Glass Action! is all about using a modern spin, look, feel, materials and humor with glass. My Etsy shop hosts Glass Action! designs, but the heart of the business is custom portrait work for weddings, holidays and any special occasion. Beautiful pendants and portrait work, state pride, special event pieces and Rock N Roll night lights are a staple on Etsy and available in affordable custom requests. 3. You & attendees follow GA! Insta to see monthly class highlight reels to be ready for your date!
✍️Makers should have average to good dexterity and hand / vision strength, 🎂must be 17 and up to participate

👀See something from a past menu you’d prefer to make? That’s usually fine, especially return students!

Hold up - I’m not done advertising yet!
This Friday and Saturday May 15 and 16 from 10 AM to 4 PM. I’m hosting a super humongous colossal yard sale featuring tons of costume jewelry perfect for dance and prom season vintage collectibles and kitsch including T-shirts. Fisher-Price blow molds, fun collectibles, cut crystal bowls, glass stained glass supplies, odds and ends, scraps, mosaic, buckets, and so much more!!
Vintage will be set up in the yard stained glass under the pergola, and my jewelry show will be inside the garage. under market to highway robbery pricing!!

The weather looks amazing! If you missed backyard art fair or wanted to swing by with a small repair inquire about a gift certificate for Dad for Father’s Day or simply say hello, This is the weekend to do it!
Do you know where to find me DM if you don’t please share far and wide I’m hoping this is the last sale of the size of the season!
I’ve got some projects I want to finance and this seemed like the most fun way to do so!

May 9th from 11-6pm, I’m absolutely pumped to share that is back hosting spot #1 for !
I’ll have an array of new work, panels some tried and true hits, and tons of info on booking classes, repair work and entering my fifth year, teaching beginner and advanced stained glass work here at Glass Action Studios in Oak Park!
There will also be a kids activity inside the studio.

Updated May schedule!
It’s a super busy month with two shows Glass action will be at hosting May 9 11-6p, Sat May 30th
Posted are the projects and prices and the dates/times that I’m available to host beginner mixed group classes if you have gift certificates solo maker, a duo maker or interested in a small group or private event please DM me!
Thursday evenings are coming together for open studio time, light instruction, build a longer thing.
May 15–16 10-4 & May 17 appts I’m hosting my big spring nash up vintage and kitsch garage sale with an obscene amount of gorgeous costume, jewelry scraps, and smalls for stained glass hobbyists! DM me if you need directions

🙋🏻‍♀️👯‍♀️ Solo, duo and private groups encouraged!
These are HIGH concentrated instruction beginner-based classes by a Master Craftswoman with over 30 years in safe practice and skill.
💲Project cost is the Price of the project you pick - a three hour+ class which includes the instruction, tools & materials and you take home your thing that day!
✍️Makers should have average to good dexterity and hand strength, ready for an intensive dive into Glass work and must be 17 and up to participate (unless in a private class)
