We love getting to celebrate all kinds of events, and prom is no exception! We hosted a "picture party" for some Fenwick highschoolers before their prom a few weeks back and had an absolute blast! ❤ We hope you had fun at prom!!

We are excited to announce that Pleasant Home will be open for tours on Sunday, May 10 from 12:00-3:00P to celebrate Mother's Day this year. Special consideration will be given to our Vintage Mother's Day Cards and our Women of Pleasant Home displays.

We will also be handing out red carnations to all of the women who visit Pleasant Home on Sunday, in addition to our Thursday tours during the month of May. This has been made possible by the generous donation from Weddings by Westgate Flowers.

We cannot wait celebrate Mother's Day with you! ❤

Step inside a house full of history. Oak Park is home to the beautiful Pleasant Home, designed in 1897 by noted architect George W. Maher. The 30-room architectural gem is a showcase of 19th-century craftsmanship and artistry, with rich custom woodwork, extraordinary art glass windows, a massive fireplace, intricate woodcarvings, and tile work.

We invite you to tour the home with our knowledgeable docents. We are open every Thursday and select Sundays from 12:00-3:00P. We will be open on Sunday, May 10 for Mother's Day this year with special consideration given to our Vintage Mother's Day Cards and our Women of Pleasant Home displays. As a special gift from Weddings by Westgate Flowers, we will be handing out red carnations to all of the women who visit Pleasant Home during the month of May.
