HOME Gallery HOME: an ongoing experimental living and exhibition space. http://thelarch.org/home.html

HOME will reopen at our new location at 125 N Harvey Ave, Oak Park, IL 60302 with a permanent installation by Marianne Fairbanks! History:

Home was started in 2007 as a way to use the private home as a public beacon and free space to explore broader ideas of home as a constantly shifting state of mind and platform for neighborly exchange. "...home as a place and a mindset, a psycho-geography, a set of relationships with things and people, within the home, and surrounding the home, a stage set with social and material parameters, an idea that is perhaps never realized, a story that we tell ourselves and others that is both documentary and fiction…" John Preus.
