Come celebrate this special moment with us as we wrap up our last market on the Community Center Grounds!

After this market we look ahead to exciting new opportunities in the Oak Park Event Hub! A four-season facility spanning nearly 4,200 square feet including a 1,400 square foot commercial kitchen, rollup garage doors allowing for open air events and our Farmers Market rain or shine. This is totally awesome!

Thank you residents and City of Oak Park administrators for all the hard dedicated work on this!👏👏🏻👏🏽

Let's continue to grow, uplift, & amplify everything that makes Oak Park. 💚🧡💜

Where Freedom Lives, Community Grows!

Juneteenth Celebration ❤️🖤💚 | Come Join Us!

Friday, June 19 at Oak Park High School Auditorium from 4 to 6 p.m. but that's not it, there's more!

🌟 8 a.m. Freedom Walk 🦵🏻🦵🏾
🌟 6 p.m. Community Block Party on the Oak Park Recreation Community Center Grounds

Freedom is more than a historical milestone—it is the foundation upon which strong communities are built. When people are empowered, valued, and united, communities flourish. They become places where opportunities are created, cultures are celebrated, and future generations are inspired to dream bigger and achieve more.

Juneteenth reminds us of the resilience of those who came before us, the progress we have made, and the work that still lies ahead. It is a time to reflect on our history while celebrating the strength, excellence, and contributions of our community today.

This event will include experiences from: inspiring speakers, dynamic performances, cultural presentations, community engagement opportunities, and our first-ever "Community Block Party."

Together, these moments represent the joy, unity, and pride that make our community special.
