Feather and Fox Print Co has done an outstanding job printing our new sign, complete with a bold QR code that enables visitors to take self-guided tours of our newest mural.

Hey neighbors, any chance you've seen our sign? The sign contains information about the murals and the QR code for our self-guided tour, a fantastic feature that brings tourists and locals alike to Downtown. Someone lifted the entire thing right off our property, including the pole and heavy concrete base, and we're feeling a bit deflated after three incidents of vandalism in just a few months. However, we're choosing to focus on the positive, and we believe our community can make a real difference.

If you have any information about our sign's whereabouts, please don't hesitate to let us know. It’s a community effort in making Downtown shine brighter, together.

Our “newest” mural brings a WWII era mural—hidden in one of our buildings—back to life! Thank you to Anacortes artist Amelia Kaiser - Art for her wonderful mural recreation and to Oak Harbor artist Kat for pitching in on the mural’s article text!

This is the first of two murals celebrating the United State’s 250th anniversary—we’ll raise funds for the next WWII era mural recreation slated for October, 2026!

New mural in Downtown Oak Harbor celebrating Navy history! Thank you Amelia Kaiser - Art for sharing your talent with the community!

Amelia did an amazing job on the new mural on our walls! It’s a recreation of a WWII mural painted by Frank Griffin, a 19 year old Navy sailor, painted in 1941 at NAS Whidbey’s (WWII era) USO Club, depicting Navy planes downing N*zi planes and subs over the Puget Sound. The mural, along with other historic WWII soldier art, is hidden (and protected) within the walls of 720 SE Pioneer Way.

—While the Germans never attacked the area, the mural depicts the U.S. Navy’s fight against fascism. Proud to display this piece of history as America turns 250 years old! 💪
