Blind Squirrel Pool Tournaments would like to send out a HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make the 5th Annual Paul Allers Memorial such an incredible weekend!
The tables are quiet, the brackets are finished, and another Paul Allers Memorial is officially in the books!
What an incredible weekend of pool, friendship, laughter, competition and, most importantly, remembering and celebrating a man who had a way of bringing people together.

ποΈ THE RAFFLE! ποΈ
You guys showed up BIG for this one!
We had $1,020 in raffle ticket sales, plus a $30 donation.
Then an anonymous donor stepped up and did something incredibly generous. They matched the value of our largest raffle item with an additional $500 donation!
To our anonymous donor: THANK YOU! Your generosity means more than you know. β€οΈ
β€οΈ AND HERE IS THE BEST PART... β€οΈ
The checks have officially been cut!
This afternoon, Blind Squirrel Pool Tournaments delivered a $775 check to North Whidbey Help House and a $775 check to WAIF, for a total of $1,550 donated to two organizations that do so much for our community.
Every raffle ticket you bought and every dollar donated helped make those checks possible.
THANK YOU! β€οΈ

β€οΈ NOW FOR THE THANK-YOUS... β€οΈ

A very special thank you to Greg Jensen and Jason Fick with Distinguished Billiards for streaming the tournament. Sitting behind a computer screen for two days so that others can watch and enjoy the event is a huge commitment, and we truly appreciate your time and willingness to do it.
And THANK YOU to everyone who donated items and helped make our raffle possible:

β€οΈ BUT MORE THAN ANYTHING... β€οΈ
Thank you to our 53 players.
Thank you for spending an entire weekend with us remembering Paul Allers.
Paul was someone who brought people together in so many different ways. Years later, he is still bringing people together.
For two very long days, four pool tables were surrounded by friends, competitors, laughter, stories, handshakes, hugs and a whole lot of pool.
And that is exactly what this tournament is supposed to be about.
It isn't only about who wins.
It's about remembering a man who left his mark on this community and making sure that, once a year, we all come together because of him.
π₯ 53 PLAYERS β’ FOUR TABLES β’ MORE THAN 27 HOURS OF TOURNAMENT TIME β’ ONE INCREDIBLE WEEKEND π₯
Thank you all for making the 5th Annual Paul Allers Memorial Tournament one we will never forget. β€οΈ
Until next year...
β€οΈ PAUL IS STILL BRINGING PEOPLE TOGETHER. β€οΈ
