YES ! Artists Lounge is MOVING !
NOT SHUTTING DOWN!!
The reason for this move is multifaceted .
The main reason is size ! You will see the new location is smaller , more quaint and more easily accessible off 20 . We will also be working in coordination with Spectacled Sasquatch ( a tap room )on events , sharing that patio between us will open a lot of opportunities for sipping while painting, for those so inclined .
I have realized over the past 6 years , the former location may have served well in the beginning as a paint your own pottery studio called Paint Your Art Out in 2001 ….then transitioned to Paint Your World in 2004. I purchased the contents in 2020 with the passing of one of the previous owners ( Ron ) and was encouraged by Laura to change the name , and make it MY OWN …my own brand . I did not purchase the rights to PYW. Currently the industry is recovering from COVID , and now tariffs . The economy and my needs no longer require such a large venue .
NO ONE has my permission to speak FOR me regarding this business let alone the move . I have not given any permission and those who are doing so need to STOP.
