I realize this isn't a go-kart but his talents started years ago....courtesy of a long time friend of Karl's, an OSSA 250 that Karl built, it came in a basket and he took it from there, 1978, 1979.

Another example of Karl's legacy.....Stacy Lord, raced with Karl for many years. I managed to get a copy of his signature so her parents could put it on this plaque for her birthday. Although you can't see it, he gets top billing and I could not be more proud. ❤️
