✨MEET OUR 2026 FALL DANCE STAFF!✨

If you’ve been around our dance program for a while, you may notice a few new faces this fall! With several of our longtime instructors heading off to college, we’re excited to introduce the newest members of our Oak Forest Park District Dance Staff — Coach Ali, Coach Amelia & Coach Mia! 🩰💃

Each coach has completed training and preparation and is ready to make this fall a fun, positive, and exciting experience for our dancers. While our staff may look a little different this year, our commitment to providing quality instruction and a welcoming environment for our dancers remains the same! 💚

We thought it would be fun to let our families get to know the coaches who will be spending their evenings in the studio with their dancers, so check out their flyers below! 🌟

And yes… we used AI to help make these flyers. 😂🤖 We promise the coaches are real, the experience is real, the training is real… and thankfully, so are the dance moves! 😂💃

We are SO excited to have Coach Ali, Coach Amelia & Coach Mia joining/continuing with our dance staff this fall and can’t wait to see what they bring to the studio!!

This Sunday come out to our annual event the Old Times Family Picnic. It all begins at 12 noon. Bring your family and friends and join us as we will have live music, games, inflatables, bingo, bean bags, face painters, balloon twister and a corn maze. Absolutely CANNOT believe our Summer Pop-Ups are already coming to an end! 😭💜 We have loved seeing so many new and familiar faces in the gym all summer long!

So happy to see so many smiling faces coming out of our Speed & Spring vault pop-up last week! 🤸‍♀️✨ It was awesome to see some of our Gliders Gymnastics team members using the extra time to work on their skills, technique, and confidence!

And now… it’s time for our FINAL Summer Pop-Up! ✨ SIT, JUMP & SNAP ✨ THIS THURSDAY, August 27th, from 3:30–5:00pm!

Come in to work on one of the most sought after tumbling skills—BACK HANDSPRINGS! Whether you call them back handsprings, flip flops or flic-flacs, we’ve got the coaches ready to help! 🤸‍♀️

😍Already an experienced athlete? Come work on connecting multiple back handsprings, cleaning up your technique and improving your power!

💪Still working toward your first one? If you have a backbend kickover and are ready to learn the next highest skill, YOU ARE WELCOME!

Coach Destiny, Coach Jordan, and Coach Ava are ready to work with ALL skill levels and will cater to each athlete’s individual needs and goals!

💜✨ MDF TRYOUTS ARE DONE! ✨💜

A big thank you to everyone who came out for tryouts! We truly appreciate all of the dancers who stepped into the room, worked hard, and shared their love of dance with us. It was so special getting to see everyone dance! 🪩

We are so excited for this new season and are especially excited to start dancing in our new studio once it's complete! There is so much to look forward to, and we can’t wait to make some great memories together. 🪻💜

Don’t miss your chance to register for our 14-week Fall Gymnastics Session at the Oak Forest Park District with our awesome coaching staff!
