Tonight, a major storm passed over downtown Chicago while we gathered for the kickoff of GraceNote Collective's inaugural season.⚡️

Inside the historic walls of Quinn Chapel AME, we were safe. We offered a hybrid option for those concerned about the weather, and every choir member and board member was accounted for.

We're grateful for the dedication of this community, for God's protection as everyone traveled to and from rehearsal, and for the shelter provided by a church that has stood faithfully through generations of storms.

As Pastor Troy reminded us: "This church has been here over 130 years... it isn't going anywhere."

Amen and hallelujah! 💛🖤

🎤 Chicago singers — auditions are less than 3 weeks away! 🎶

GraceNote Collective is building our inaugural season choir, and we’re looking for singers who love gospel music, inclusive community, and singing with purpose.

Auditions will be held May 28–30 at Quinn Chapel AME Church in Chicago’s South Loop. Our 2026 season runs June–October, with rehearsals every other Thursday evening beginning June 11.
