First company class and rehearsal was a huge success! (Just missing one company member) We are all very excited to start creating for our first full show at the end of May!
If you are a current dancer wanting to build your resume or former dancer that wants to get back to your childhood passion. Join FMDC! We are accepting company members through end of January, For our Spring season Jan 2024-June 2024. Class & Rehearsals are weekly Thursday & Saturdays 9am-11:30am. If you are only able to make one of them that is okay! We hope to add more days of training in the future!
We are a company that is ran by the artists for the community. Our mission is to provide a safe space for pre-professional and professional artists to come together to share dance in a variety of styles with our local community.
Our goal is to provide multiple performing and choreographic opportunities for our artists to create and further their artistry to either be company members for life or to help build their resume with experiences, so that they can take their knowledge and artistry onto other experiences, to further share our passion for dance.
Company members are not paid for rehearsals at this time. That said artists will split ticket sales, evenly, from all our shows for compensation. (Tickets sales are handled electronically and report /login is made available for all company members to see)
We are in process of filing our 501c3, so stay tuned for opportunities to sponsor a dancer.
We look forward to providing lecture demonstrations and master classes in our local schools, at no cost to further share our love for dance and the many profound life lessons the art form teaches us.
