Today I enjoyed working my table at the Perry Hall Bright View craft fair from 10 to 2. It was fun to see "my stampin ladies"..that is, the ladies who come to my once a month stamp classes, and to chat with the residents and their friends and family members who came to shop. I had many of my usual cards and projects available but had a few new items too. Maybe my favorite new item was a gardening kit. It included a trowel, gardening gloves, and seed packets in a cello bag with a tag that said "I dig you...and your garden too."

I have another quickie card to show you today...and I do mean quick! It starts with a quarter sheet of soft seafoam cardstock as the base. Next a 4 x 4" piece of floral DSP is cut in half diagonally. Each triangle is attached to a corner at the 90 angle of the DSP - top left and bottom right. That leaves a diagonal gap about 7/8" wide diagonally in the center of the card. There is stamped a greeting with some hearts at either end in the gap...simple. Add a half sheet of basic white cardstock folded in half to the back and you are done. These daisies look so fresh!

Today was a sentimental day for me...it's my younger son's birthday. He and my older son are several years apart in age and on John's actual birth day, Davy was being inducted into the next level of cub scouts...an important ocassion for him. Fortunately, my sister was in town and she helped us by escorting Davy to his ceremony and then she brought him to meet his new brother in the hospital. He was very happy to have a new brother and to get to hold him. Special memory for me...and maybe for him too.
I have another card for you today from my last in person class. We used the Friendly Foliage stamp set and old olive ink. Blending brushes were used to add Darling Duckling and Crushed Curry inks which added brightness to the scene. Die cutting allowed us to inlay the leafy image within the white background.
Next Saturday, May 30th I am participating in a craft fair at the Perry Hall Bright View Senior Living Center from 10 to 2. Would love to have you stop by and shop my goodies.

Looks like I may have to add the picture separately again...frustrating

Today I want to share one of the cards from my last in person class. This card uses the lovely Friendly Foliage "Get Well Soon" greeting in Pretty Peacock ink, Floral Delight DSP (patterned paper), and the Lily of the Valley dies. The base is Pretty Peacock cardstock. Then the leaves are cut from garden green cardstock and the flowers are die cut from basic white cardstock...the flowers are popped up on dimensionsls. I just love the look of this card! It speaks to freshness, delicacy, and innocence.
Now if I could just add the picture. Remember when this used to br easy? Grrr.

Today I want to share with you another amazing, striking card from my last class....and this beauty is so simple it's embarrassing. The base cardstock is secret sea. Next is a piece of the gorgeous Scenic Coast DSP.....6x6 pack and each design is more striking than the next. Next, comes the die cut from the sunset coast dies, again in secret sea. The greeting is from Prairie Grass and is heat embossed in white. Add the die cut birds and you are done! I think this card is bresth taking! Contact me if you'd like to order the supplies or if you'd like me to repeat the class in person. 410 256 6772

Tonight I am posting a picture of my project since my video on Zoom is not behaving as it used to do. Both versions of the card use the SU POM (product of the month) set from March, 2026, called Notes of Spring. The first card used the two step deer images in tones of brown. I wanted to refresh the card and add more color...clearly the rabbit image was not going to do that for me, so I used the goose instead in yellow tones. The brighter colors lifts the mood of the card. We also changed the greeting as it was requested to say "get well soon. Quick and easy and enhanced by the use of a dry embossing folder.

Here I go again! Things that appear on my end to have been loaded are not appearing on my site but something I did not think I loaded, did appear! Wanted to show you how a simple change to a card (color, image layout) can give you a whole new look ....but the video isn't loading. I'll keep trying!

Hi stampin friends. You've heard the phrase "when it rains, it pours"? Yesterday I could not get a reel to load. I tried many times but finally I gave up. Later that day apparently all my attempts succeeded! My reel posted several times! Now I'm working on deleting them...you'd think it would be easy...not so!
On to something else...
I have a long term project of making monthly wall art. It takes longer to assemble than you might imagine in part because I have to do each project in die cuts only. I cannot sell stamped kits. Anyway, April did not get finished but I have finished May and I'm happy with it. What do you think?
Might be slow at doing June...what would you include? Father's day, graduation?

Halleluia! After numerous attempts to load my most recent video, I think I have finally succeeded! The card I made is for a customer who wanted a custom design. I delivered the card to her today but she was in the midst of teaching so I was not able to see her reaction when she opened it. I was delighted by how it incorporated each of the elements she requested...hope she is delighted too.
