I have been enjoying the Stampin' Up! Experience for over 29 years. When people ask why others might not join in the fun, I honestly can't answer them. After being shown only a few stampin' techniques, I was won over hook, line, and sinker. Although I have enjoyed many different crafts throughout my lifetime, hands down, I have stamped continuously and often since I was first introduced to the fun. There is no other craft that I have enjoyed so consistently and often. I love that it is easy, that it is fast, that it is replicatable, and that I get to share the fruits of my handiwork with friends and family. If anyone ever thought of exploring this craft but has kept their interest to themselves, I invite you to contact me. I feel certain you will discover real joy, too!

It isn't even the middle of October yet and I am way deep in christmas card prep. We enjoyed our first Stamp a Stack session a week ago and will be tackling Stamp a Stack #2 on the 25th...will you be joining us? I need to hear from you by Sunday, Oct 18th if you want to come play on the 25th.

Yesterday my Bright View gals made Halloween cards and Christmas cards. The first Halloween card was my Raven card and about half the gals chose the "superbowl bound" phrase inside and the other half chose "Happy Halloween". One of the "happy halloween" folks was a Steelers fan so I guess she didn't want to cheer on our Ravens!

Today I'd like to share with you a simple card that feels very "country" to me. The gals made it at last Sunday's Stamp a Stack. Obviously any pretty background paper would do and any die cut would do too! Quick and easy when you are banging out holiday cards. What combo would you use?

This card that we made in yesterday's stampin session is quite easy but the "lux" paper (last months product of the month) is so gorgeous! I thought the gold foil "joy" was the perfect greeting to flatter the paper.

Had such a pleasant time with my stampin gals today that I'm looking forward to our next stamp a stack class on Sunday Oct 25 at 2pm. Once again we will make 20 new holiday cards (5 designs, 4 of each for $40). You must register in advance with payment of the mateials fee by Sunday, Oct 18th. Hope you'll join in the fun! Excited to see the new product of the month in october....stars dies...lots of them in lots of sizes. For $5 with your $75 purchase.. what a deal! Could have used these the other day when prepping for my upcoming stamp a stack class!
