Darrin Sims is very excited to join the Notre Dame Shakespeare team. Most of his on-stage work has been done at Acting Ensemble in Mishawaka, but most recently he was at the GhostLight Theatre in Benton Harbor as Jason in Clyde’s by Lynn Nottage. Darrin has also done film work on ND campus, but mostly with Tuesday Knight Productions, whom you can find on YouTube. Darrin is looking forward to taking more steps to accomplish his dream of acting and is beyond thankful for his very supportive family and friends who have encouraged him every step of the way!

Olivia hails from Traverse City, Michigan, though she will always defend her honor as a New York native. A recent graduate from the University of Notre Dame this past spring, Olivia took on many roles during her time in undergraduate theatre including directing, assistant stage managing, and acting, but her most treasured experience was writing the book, music, and lyrics for the FTT department’s spring musical, Heart on Fire. She is incredibly honored and grateful to be a part of Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival this summer before moving to NYC in the fall to pursue an MFA in Musical Theatre Writing from NYU. Favorite past credits include #25 in The Wolves (Notre Dame), Nadia in Bare: A Pop Opera (Notre Dame) and Trebonius/Strato in Julius Caesar (Interlochen Shakespeare Festival). She thanks the ND Shakespeare team, and her family and friends for all their love and support.
