Please join us for the GRAND OPENING of The Melting Pot Community Center on Saturday, April 4th from 10am-5pm with our Easter egg hunt beginning at 10:30am!!!
We'll be kicking off our first event with an Easter Eggstravaganza where we'll have activities, games & prizes for kids as well as raffles and a silent auction! Our local Artisans will also be on display so take a hop around our shop and see their amazing merch!! 🤩
Registrations will be set up for anyone interested in signing up for 4-H Club or our summer youth program. Sign ups will also be held for anyone interested in utilizing our event space in upcoming classes, workshops, hobby groups, birthdays, and more!

As I close down the studio, I’m excited to follow the next business that will be occupying this space in Norwood! The Melting Pot Community Center

Cora has some amazing ideas and I will be looking to utilize the space for occasional classes and workshops 🎨🎉

We are crazy excited to share some amazing news with you all!!
Drum roll...... 🥁
After years of ups, downs, sideways & delays, we are FINALLY opening The Melting Pot Community Center at 24 S. Main St. in Norwood!!! Located across from the Municipal building and next door to Maple, etc.
While we currently do not have an official opening date yet, we will be in the space beginning in March and hustling to get everything ready for the amazing people in our community. 💪
We have tons of plans and ideas, but since it is going to be a 'Community Space', we'd LOVE to hear your thoughts, ideas, wants, needs, etc from the Patrons themselves! 💡
A few things we'll be offering:
*Event Space - low cost availability for classes, workshops, birthdays, etc.
*Recreation space- Currently looking for air hockey, pool table, foosball, board games, video games, etc. (Please contact us if you have any of the above available)
*Free space to Homeschool groups, clubs, and families
*Local Vendors & Artisans- we are open to local vendors and creators, spots are filling up quickly, if interested please contact either Haylea, Christopher, or Cora for more information.
*Music- lessons, open mic night, and one on one jam sessions with local musicians
*Art- art lessons, events, groups, activities & creative exploration.
*Local Healing Arts Practitioners- we will be creating private space for a variety of local holistic and natural practitioners.
*Makers Space will be available for anyone in the community who would like to share their talents, wisdom, experience, knowledge, or skills.
These are just the beginning plans for what's to come, our true intentions are to help build back a stronger foundation that our beautiful community and its people deserve. 🫶
We are open to so many more ideas & would love to hear your thoughts as we progress in this new adventure!

Join us for an evening of pottery painting and cheese snack box tasting! Participants will each receive a Double Heart Dish to glaze with their own design as well as a personal snack box for tasting. Bring your Galentine along for the perfect creative, social event!

Pottery will be fired and returned following the event. All materials provided, no experience necessary.

An Important Update from Converging Line:

After much thought, I’ve decided to close our studio location at 24 S Main St as of March 1. This has not been an easy choice, but due to some personal changes, it’s the right step for me and my family at this time.

That said—this is not the end of Converging Line! It’s simply a new chapter. I’ll be transitioning back to what originally made Converging Line so special:

✨ Community-based classes & events
✨ Mobile and local art parties
✨ Creative collaborations throughout the North Country

I’ll also be continuing regular meetups like Homeschool Art Group and Craft & Yap, hosted at public spaces such as local libraries and community rooms. Arts education is my passion, and I can’t wait to keep these programs growing!

What this means for the studio:
The studio will remain open with normal hours and drop-in availability through the end of February:
🕒 Fridays 12–4
🕒 Saturdays 11–4

I invite community members of all ages to stop in to paint pottery, decorate a making base, explore our art materials, and help us close this chapter on a beautifully creative note.

🎁 Have a gift certificate? Now is a perfect time to use it—though gift certificates will not expire and can be redeemed toward any future Converging Line classes, events, or parties, no matter the location.

🎉 Birthday parties and special events booking will continue to be available beyond February. I’ll work with hosts to choose locations such as libraries, town halls, schools, classrooms, or even your own home to host a creative event your guests won’t forget!

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who has supported Converging Line. Opening this studio and creating a welcoming space for creativity has been a dream come true, and the love and encouragement from this community has meant everything to me. I’ve been blown away with the amount of success and excitement the studio has seen since day one of opening, but I know this transition is what myself and my family need at the moment.
