Please consider contacting the Jockey Club about what NTWO wrote below. It is really is to do, and I have included their contact page. You can just copy and paste. The more people they hear from, the better chance we have to change things.

Some trainers and owners still do not grasp that the "old way" of doing things, while never ethical, are now unacceptable for both ethical reasons and public relations reasons. No longer can the unethical treatment of one's horses be hidden, nor are others in the sport going to tolerate those who are damaging our sport with their actions.
Two stallions were reported as having been brought in together to the Stanley's/Bastrop Kill Pen. One has been identified as Sound the Alarm. The other, a gray, is thought to be Matzoh Toga. We called the stallion's last known owner, Sam Breaux, today and when asked about the two stallions, he said he sold them along with 3 other horses a few weeks ago to someone whose name he doesn't know and for cash.
We don't know the names or whereabouts of the other three horses, but it seems logical that they too are at the Bastrop Kill Pen. In the meantime, it is known that Sound the Alarm and presumably Matzoh Toga are in trouble.
This is unacceptable in every way, and we therefore ask for help in solving this problem. We ask that the Jockey Club implement a policy where registration privileges are revoked on current and future horses owned by an offender until the offender pays a fine to cover the costs for a 501(c)3 horse welfare organization to secure the horse. In addition, we request that the policy include more severe penalties for repeat offenders.
We ask that readers forward this request to the Jockey Club if they too request this of this Jockey Club.
We can't allow this to continue. The sport and our horses deserve better.
