Wrapping up day 3 of 4 at the Summer Solstice Festival Serpent Mound Eagle Retreat in Peebles, Ohio. It makes my heart happy to be back in the countryside. There were a lot of great people I've had great chats with from all over the US that have traveled to visit Serpent Mound these last few days.Thank you all for supporting the history of Serpent Mound through Friends of Serpent Mound and thank you for supporting the vendors! 😘🌞❤️🔥🏺

RAKU!!!!!🔥😍🔥😁 These three raku pieces are all glazed with the same glaze, Peacock (QCC Studio glaze). The difference of achieving a luster vs. turquoise crackle effect is the time you take pulling it out of the kiln to get it to its reduction chamber. The crackle piece was taken out a couple of minutes after the kiln was shut off and opened, allowing it to cool a little bit.

This is so much fun! ❤️🔥
