NEXT WEEKEND! 🎃
Join us in downtown Norwich on Saturday, October 29th for some seasonal fun! Kick off the day at Saturday in the Park with Chobani with a HUGE amount of vendors! Then watch the Norwich Family YMCA Halloween Parade at 11am! All while you enjoy a ton of activities throughout the day! Activities include:
🎃Face Painting at 10am
🎃Chicken BBQ at 11am
🎃Wagon Rides at 12pm
🎃Meet & Greet Ariel and Rapunzel at 12pm
🎃Trunk or Treat at 2pm
Plus much more! Come on down for a great day!

What a great day we had yesterday! Of course we had a few rain showers but we’d expect nothing less. Thank you to our friends Saturday in the Park with Chobani and the Norwich Family YMCA for bringing a festive, fun filled day to downtown Norwich. And thank you to our community for always supporting these wonderful events! We’re hoping for bigger and better things next year! Happy Halloween all!

When you make your way downtown this Saturday please bring a nonperishable food item for the local food cupboards at the Broad Street United Methodist Church and Chenango United Way. There has been an increased need for such items and we’d love to help replenish their stock! We’ll have bins clearly marked in both parks throughout the day Saturday. Thank you!

Here is the schedule of events for the "Norwitch Fall Festival" to be held on Saturday, October 30th in East Park in downtown Norwich! This will truly be a great day as we work with Saturday in the Park with Chobani and the Norwich Family YMCA to bring back Halloween festivities for our community!

EXCITING NEWS!
Join us on Saturday, October 30th for a fun-filled day in downtown Norwich! In conjunction with Saturday in the Park with Chobani and the Norwich Family YMCA Halloween Parade, there will be a variety of FREE kid’s activities in East Park. Though it will not be the “Pumpkin Fest” you may all remember, this is a step in the right direction as the newly formed “Norwitch Fall Festival” takes shape. Please stay tuned to this page as more details become available! It’ll be a great day in the park!

We have had many questions regarding the Norwich Pumpkin Festival and its future. Please note that the Pumpkin Festival celebrated its 20th and last year in 2018. Thank you to all the sponsors, committee members, and the community for your generous support that kept this family tradition going for 20 years. With that said, there has been a lot of conversation regarding a new Fall Festival to be held in 2020 under new organizers. Please stay tuned for further details as that conversation continues. Though we know the last weekend in October will feel a bit different this year we appreciate your patience as we assist in “handing over the reins” to help keep this community staple going!

Due to the weather we unfortunately will not be having fireworks tonight. We’re so sorry for the inconvenience but after talking to our friends at The Evening Sun/Pennysaver we will save them for this year’s Parade of Lights! The Beadle Brothers are still on and will hit the stage at 7pm! Throw on your boots and get to East Park!
