Extend the Halloween season an extra week with Norwich Theater Company’s production of Vultures. Directed by Terry Colf and written by Mark A. Ridge, The Vultures depicts a dark and stormy night at Westmont Estate. As guests descend to hear the reading of a will, the housekeeper declares, “The relatives are descending in like a wake of vultures ready to pick the carcass clean. ”
But who will inherit the fortune? Will it be the charming realtor, the handsome male model, the dimwitted nail technician, the bitter old woman, the endearing hairdresser, or the mild mannered accountant? Throw in a priceless pocket watch, an androgenous housekeeper, an escaped mental patient, a pair of reunited lovers and the result is murder, with a hefty dose of laughs. The Vultures puts a comedic, modern day, gay spin on the classic murder mystery genre.
Norwich Theater Company invites you to participate in this spooktacular show by auditioning in the Martin W. Kappel Theater on September 19-21 from 7-9pm. The performance will take place November 6-8 with rehearsals occurring Monday- Friday, excluding Wednesdays, from October 5th until show week.
