Chelsea Players members meet on Tuesday June 16 at the CASA UCC (site of our recent production of Dance for a Manatee) at 6:30 pm. We'll hear a report about the play and look for suggestions for the future. All are invited--"membership" is open without dues to anyone who is interested.

Playwright Mara Dresner gives director Charlie Anderson her seal (or other marine mammal) of approval at the Chelsea Players production of her Dance for a Manatee. You have two more chances to see this uproarious mystery-comedy: Friday June 5 and Saturday June 6, both at 7.

A reminder that Chelsea Players' production, DANCE FOR A MANATEE opens tomorrow, Friday, May 29 at 7 pm at Casa UCC (formerly United Congregational), 87 Broadway in Norwich, directly across from City Hall. The other performances are Saturday, May 30 at 2 pm and Friday and Saturday, June 5 and 6 at 7 pm.

The show is a rollicking comedy! Tickets are $15 with $12 admission for seniors, military and students, payable at the door by cash or check only. No credit cards are accepted. All seats are general admission and doors open a half hour before showtime.

Sky Buchan (Constantine) is an actor based in Norwich, CT, and
holds a BA in Drama from Hofstra University with double minors in
Music and Religion & Contemporary Issues. Chestnut Street Playhouse credits include A Few Good Men (Tom, Lawyer, Orderly), School of Rock (Adult Ensemble), Matilda (Adult Ensemble).

Rich Weingart (Sergeant Doctor Ambrose P. Smith) has been a
Chelsea Player for decades, acting, directing, and serving as
president. From Absolutely Murder (NFA Playshop) to the present
day, he delights in chewing scenery as long as someone else writes
it. When his time is not consumed by those theatrical pursuits, he
is engaged as a bovine podiatrist.

Kody Mileski (Robert) This is Kody’s debut performance with the Chelsea Players. Kody is a board member at the Windham Theater Guild in Willimantic and has performed in a number of shows there, as well as at Chestnut Street Playhouse in Norwich. He is also a professional set builder in the CT area and has directed a few shows as well.

Brave the cold and come to the open meeting of the Chelsea Players tomorrow, Tuesday January 20 at 6:30 pm.
It will be held in the NAC Gallery of the Norwich Arts Center, 60 Broadway. All are welcome.
