Call to Artists!! Show your work of the human form.

"Go Figure!" is our June show at the Matolcsy Center at 480 Main Street in Norway, Maine. Members of Western Maine Art Group and participants in our Life Drawing groups may show up to 4 works each. There is no size restriction but some determination may have to be made for the sake of space. There is no fee but sales commission is 15% (+3% for credit card purchase) for members and 30% (+3%) for non-member sales.

Drop off is Wednesday, June 3 from noon until 3 pm.
A reception will take place Friday, June 5 from 5 until 7 pm.

A sign up schedule for exhibiting artists to sit with the show will be available so to be open to the public.

Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens
Another plein air opportunity in mid June-Friday, June 12th-Monday, June 15th.
Free entrance to paint the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay.
You do have to register to let them know which days you are planning to go and paint.

May 25th- McLaughlin Garden CANCELLED WILL RESCHEDULE
June 4th-Pineland Farm, New Gloucester
June 18th- Wolfe's Neck Park, Freeport
July: Highland Lake Beach, Bridgeton (Date TBD)
July: Screw Auger Falls, Newry (Date TBD)
August: Dan Warren's Farm, Waterford (late August)
Any other hotspots we should check out locally? I'm open to suggestions!
Just a reminder- all artists all mediums are welcome. (Personally I'll be working in sketchbooks this summer while we are moving and most of my materials are packed up!) Be sure to read the "Event Post" details for info on parking, bathrooms, etc. . . .
