• The National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere of "Annie Jump and the Library of Heaven" by Reina Hardy
• The U.S. Premiere of "The Phlebotomist" by Ella Road.

CT Short Play Fest '26 Results!

Eleven new plays, six actors, one Saturday at the Crystal Theatre in South Norwalk.

SESSION 1: playwrights ages 16–22. Norwalk (CT) High School rising senior Ashley Diaz's play STILL BECOMING was selected to advance.

SESSION 2: our five professional playwright selections, plus Ashley. Top Fest honors went to PAS DE DEUX by Dana Schwartz and THE FINE PRINT by Jack Karp.

We billed this as the most fun you could have with strangers in the dark. It turned into a reunion with a lot of old friends, and the strangers we met weren't strangers for long. We can't wait to see you at the next one!
