Founded by Keir Dullea and his wife, the late Susie Fuller, the Workshop has served its membership and audiences with its original vision still intact. Plays have been developed that have gone on to Broadway, Off-Broadway, Regional and even International production. Workshop performance and constructive critique have improved members’ skills, and led to new opportunities. Audiences attend readings of classic and original plays, scenes and stories at the Workshop, local libraries and cultural institutions.

Congrats to all for a fantastic reading this past Thursday of A FOX IN THE HENHOUSE written and directed by Kate Katcher. As part of our new Plays in Progress reading series, the Workshop is proud to facilitate the process from workshop to reading, sending new work out into the world (free admission!). Always with a talkback at the end, it is a great opportunity for playwrights to put down their pens and hear fresh responses to their work.

The reading featured Barbara Hentschel, Eileen Lawless, Don Striano and Chelsea Carpenter, moderated by Luisa Tanno.
