Since it’s creation in 2014 the Norwalk Metropolitan Youth Ballet has become a driving force in the dance education community. A look at our top 3 Ensembles for Season #13. Today kicked off the start of Boot Camp in preparation for choreography, the arrival of Jason Coosner, MFA 🇺🇸|🇿🇦 and of course Nutcracker auditions.

NMYB’s Ensembles are by invitation only and are the backbone of our school. Beyond the rigors of hard work and the celebration of accomplishments both shared and individual, Ensemble participation is a lesson in leadership and a shared commitment of goals.

It’s going to be a great season.

Congratulations to our newest pointe shoe dancers and thank you to our Ensemble Etoile and Sujet volunteers for helping these dancers sew their first pair of shoes.

Last but not least a huge shoutout to Attitude | Perfect Fit Professionals 🩰 for fitting all of our dancers. Kristin, you and your team killed it…as always!

From starting this journey in 2014 with 13 students to being awarded the Outstanding School award by YAGP not once, BUT twice; well, I would say it’s truly pretty chic to be looking at opening our 13th season in just a few short weeks.

Owning and Directing NMYB has been an adventure beyond measure. Thank you for welcoming NMYB into your lives and thank you for making us Fairfield County’s premiere ballet theatre school.

See you all on September 8th for our first day of classes.
