Recorder Society of Connecticut An educational organization devoted to the enjoyment of recorder playing.. All are welcome to join us playing the recorder.

We play in a friendly, supportive atmosphere...Our emphasis is on learning technique and interpretation, not on perfection. The RSC is a Chapter of the American Recorder Society. Historically we meet in the greater Danbury area. During Covid our monthly coached playing sessions are held via zoom. Monthly sessions are on the first Saturday of the month from September through June. All musical skill

levels are welcome to participate. Small groups of our membership are encouraged to make arrangements for live playing sessions at time/place most agreeable to them.

Greetings Members and friends,

Welcome to the 2025-2026 season of our combined Zoom meetings with the Hudson-Mohawk Recorder Society. Susan has engaged our favorite coaches again and we can look forward to another year of interesting music-making. We are going to make an effort to have the coaches send music that does not require printing out tons of pages. Our roster for the year is as follows:

Schedule for the 2024 - 2025 virtual workshops is set. These sessions feature coaches from around the country and world.
All workshops are Saturday mornings (Eastern US) from 10:00 to 11:30. The Hudson Mohawk ARS chapter is co-host for all sessions.
