💙 Please Help Support Evan’s Recovery 💙

Yesterday, during our 7 PM performance at the Caledonia County Fair, we had a very scary moment when bull rider Evan suffered significant injuries while dismounting from Iron Man.

Evan was transported to a hospital in Vermont, where he remained overnight. He suffered a broken eye socket, cheekbone, and roof of his mouth, along with a concussion. His teeth are also misaligned, and he will need surgery to reset his cheekbone.

Evan will be unable to ride for at least two months while he focuses on healing and recovery.

Behind every cowboy is a family, and Evan is no exception. He is a devoted husband, father to three children, and has a baby on the way. ❤️

Thankfully, Evan was wearing his helmet, which most likely saved his life. We are incredibly grateful that, despite the severity of his injuries, he is here with his family and on the road to recovery.

We are asking our rodeo family, friends, and supporters to please keep Evan and his family in your thoughts and prayers and, if you are able, consider helping support them during this difficult time. Every little bit can make a difference as Evan faces surgery, medical expenses, and time away from work and riding.

🐎🛢️Barrel Racer Contestant Information for Caledonia County Fair 🛢️🐎

We strongly recommend arriving early, as traffic entering the fairgrounds can get heavy.

Gates to the fairgrounds open at 7:00 AM.

This is a haul-in and haul-out the same day event. No overnight parking or stalls available.

Please make sure you clean up around your trailer before leaving.

If you have already secured a spot in the barrel race, please review the check-in information below. Check-in will be set up next to the arena.

1️⃣First Performance (2PM Show)— Check-In
Check-in, waiver signing, and entry fee payment $50 (cash only) will be available from 12:30 PM–1:00 PM. If the contestant is under 18 years old, a legal guardian must sign the waiver.

If you are competing in both performances, you may complete your registration and payment for the second performance during your first check-in.

There is no guarantee that the arena will be open for practice.

2️⃣Second Performance (7PM Show) — Check-In
Check-in, waiver signing, and entry fee payment $50 (cash only) will be available from 5:30 PM–6:00 PM.If the contestant is under 18 years old, a legal guardian must sign the waiver.

There is no guarantee that the arena will be open for practice.

🏁Performance Order
Both performances will run in the following order:
-Opening Ceremony
-Barrel Racing— Contestants #1–15
-Bull Riding

Please plan accordingly and arrive with enough time to complete check-in before your designated performance.
