Pumpkins on the brain. If you stopped by last Saturday, you may have seen me working on this one. Photo 1. pumpkin fully felted and strung tight to create grooves. 2. The pumpkin "shell", with the foam sheet pulled out. You can see how much it shrank! 3, 4, & 5. Finished pumpkins from years past.

It's that time again! Second Saturday Open Houses (11-4) and Yarn Circle (1-3). The Artist Village folks are having a bit of fun with bugs this month. Look for the giant metal dragonfly on Branching Out Studio!

Buggin' out with bugs next weekend in the Artist Village at Toledo Botanical Garden . Branching Out Studio's own Joe Clark will have some giant sculptures on display. Be on the lookout for his dragonfly and mosquito. Maybe more?

And it happens to correspond with Worldwide Knit/Yarn In Public Day, so bring your current project, favorite beverage, and hang in the garden for some Yarn time. The Toledo Rose Society and Artist Village at Toledo Botanical Garden is celebrating roses this weekend too.
