Absolutely honored to be an official artist at Secret Dreams again!

Loving this full circle moment! Resonance '18 at Legend Valley was the first time i ever publicly showed & sold my creations, thanks to & who were running the art gallery that year. They saw my stuff that i brought on a whim and offered some table space, it was very impromptu but it was a great proof-of-concept which helped me decide to keep going and start focusing on creating original designs rather than just printing stuff from the internet.
Now, 5 years later I am an official artist at the last Resonance, what an honor!!! So excited to show you all some new larger scale pieces I've been working on in the last few months.
This will also be my first time at Nelson Ledges Quarry. Can't wait!!!

Hello!
I've never really done an artist intro so it's about heckin time.
My name's Cory, I've been living in Cincinnati for around a decade now. I love it here. It's underrated for real. I'm originally from the west coast but spent most of my childhood living in the mountains of West Virginia and then northern KY.
I got into 3D printing kind of accidentally/organically about 4 years ago (March 2018). I had been getting into DIY electronics, Arduino coding, etc and was playing with addressable LEDs, making neat light toys and trinkets like infinity mirrors. And i had a need for custom parts like battery bays and whatnot. I tried the local makerspace as well as the library but using/renting their 3D printers proved to be such a hassle. So i got frustrated and just splurged and bought my own and never looked back. I then quickly started making a huge variety of things, and eventually began focusing on pioneering 3D printing as an art medium. I would like to get back into the DIY electronics / LED toys side of things in the near future! Ive gone through a few printers since i started, currently own 5, only 3 of which are currently running haha.
My interests and inspirations include:
🔹️Music - everything from psych rock, jazz, funk, jam, bluegrass, to electronic stuff especially IDM/braindance, ambient, also dnb, techno, house - all over the place, truly
🔹️Nature - i just love patterns in nature, all the ways the universe decides to show you that everything is connected, everything ultimately dances to the some vibration, all the awesome examples of recursion, golden ratio, etc. What a neat universe we live in full of beautiful intricacies and endless complexity. P.s. if somebody can help me aquire some of that fancy fractal brocolli that'd be tight.

Fully 3D printed as a single piece (no glue, paint, etc)
Made with two different 3-color blended filaments, plus neon green.
Very fluorescent / UV-reactive
Inset backside / mounting hardware allows this piece to hang flush against the wall.

Based on a Lévy C-curve fractal.

Yes yes yesss I will be at in Columbus! The festival's art exhibit will include some of my wall art pieces as well as installation art. I'll also have a vendor booth with an assortment of vases, planters, jewelry and other trinkets for sale.
Super excited to share some of the larger-scale projects I've been working on!!! And very thrilled to be included alongside some other extremely talented artists that I'm a huge fan of. I'm not worthy!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Fully 3D printed as a single piece (no glue, etc).
15" wide. Made with 8 different PLA filaments.
Very fluorescent & UV-reactive.
Designed to be used as wall art, or can be laid flat as a platform, center piece, etc.
The process:
An outline of a 10-iteration twin dragon curve fractal was used to create this piece.
7 additional vectors were created with the outline expanded by increments based on the golden ratio. These 7 larger outlines were used for the rainbow base.
Each vector was imported into Blender to create the 3D layers.
Cura slicer software was used to create the pattern of the top layer. It is a generated tool path which spirals outward from the center. The patter is really vibrant & colorful thanks to the amazing blended filament by
This was an incredibly time-consuming piece to design and create. It went through a few re-designs, and there were many failed attempts at printing successfully before I finally got this result.
