Apologies all, Facebook Live audio being choppy and a bit of a rush job has resulted in me instead making a post about our 2026 season.

If you saw our December 2025 production of A Christmas Carol, then you know that our Summer 2026 and Fall 2026 shows will be A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Murder on the Orient Express respectively.

We will be having auditions for both shows on May 4th and 5th at 7pm at Houghton Hall in the Trinity Episcopal Church located at 130 Main Street, Northport NY 11768 (the same location as our shows). Callbacks (if necessary) will be held on Monday May 11th and Tuesday May 12th at 7pm in the same location.

Sometime in March or April, sides will be provided and posted, no prepared monologue necessary (of course, if you have a pre-recorded Shakespeare monologue that you wish to use as an audition for Midsummer, you are welcome to do so if unable to make the auditions). If you are unable to make the auditions, you may send in an audition video up til Friday May 8th for either show (or both) to [email protected]

All roles are open for both shows, though at the moment, the roles of Oberon and Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream have been offered to certain people that are for the moment undecided, so for the moment, the roles of Oberon and Puck are open…with an asterisk.

More information about the shows and the individual characters will be available shortly in our upcoming Audition Event Post as well as LICTC, both of which should be up shortly. We look forward to seeing you there!

Tonight, most of our cast and crew from our 2025 production of A Christmas Carol got to watch our video from our Saturday performance and have some pizza and catch up. It wasn't quite as much fun as our original cast party would have been since we were not all together, and those who couldn't attend were missed, but it was still a great night! We cannot wait for our 2026 season to begin!

Thank you again to everyone who came out to support, and had a hand in making this production one for the books!

This post is bittersweet this year. This was truly an amazing production A Christmas Carol this year that our cast and crew worked so hard in, but sadly we lost our closing matinee performance due to the snow today. That was not on our Christmas list, but Mother Nature had other ideas apparently. Our audiences the past two evenings were wonderful, and we wish we had gotten one last trip to Camden Town for the year. We are so grateful for the opportunity to entertain you, and have enjoyed this season beyond words. Looking forward to next year, and many more wonderful productions!

The performance of A Christmas Carol originally scheduled for today, Sunday 12/14, has been cancelled due to inclement weather.

While it has been our pleasure performing for you this year, and we were greatly looking forward to one more trip into Camden Town, the safety of our cast, crew, and audiences must come first!

We apologize for any inconvenience, and any prepaid reservations will have vouchers to use during our 2026 season!

Hey guys, this is one of the Producers and Assistant Director of A Christmas Carol, Justin Murphy. Unfortunately, to anyone who was gearing up to come see The Minstrel Players, Inc.’s final performance of our Annual production of A Christmas Carol, our performance has sadly been cancelled thanks to the snow. (Not a very nice birthday present, Mother Nature). We are so upset about this, but at the end of the nature, the safety of the cast, crew, and the audience was too important to risk. We send everyone our deepest apologies.
