25 years ago, Let's Dance opened in Tuscaloosa.
Ask Victoria DaCosta what's kept it going this long and she'll point straight at the students. She means it. She'll tell you the studio is made of the people who walk through the door, the regulars, the first-timers, the ones who came back after years away.
She's right about all of it. But anyone who's spent real time here knows the truth she won't say about herself. She's the heartbeat of this place. The studio runs on her energy, her patience, the way she makes a brand-new dancer feel like they belong by the end of one lesson.
So we'll say it for her. Twenty-five years of Let's Dance is twenty-five years of Victoria pouring into this community, and a community that showed up for her right back.
Thank you, Tuscaloosa. For the students who became regulars, the regulars who became friends, and for making this little studio something that lasted.
If you've ever thought about dancing, this is your sign. You don't need a partner, you don't need experience, you just need to show up. Everyone in these photos started exactly where you are. Come dance with us.
