The Sun ☀️ Major Arcana | The Sun illuminates a rider draped in a ruby veil as he sits upon a white horse, which stands proudly atop a monolithic stone wall. The rider displays a long banner that flows in the sea breeze. After successfully overcoming obstacles and challenges, the rider basks in the sunbeams on the horizon. He recounts the knowledge and strength that was obtained on his journey. Here are some exciting updates: • The Somnia Tarot: Illustrated Edition is scheduled to arrive at my art studio in early July! I will immediately begin shipping orders upon arrival. The Illustrated edition will become available to UK patrons on Etsy at that time. I will honor the presale price for those who were unable to order during the launch. • After leaving my old art studio last summer, I am in the process of setting up my new studio! • I will begin creating The Somnia Oracle series, which will be a guide through the world of dreams and nightmares!

Judgement 📯 Major Arcana | Resurrection • Awakening • Renewal | Multiple souls are resurrected from a forgotten burial ground. Their focus shifts to the spiritual entity who stands before them. The entity commands attention with a presentation of a passage to beyond. The resurrected are participating in a divine miracle that echoes from the dawn of man. The crowd is inundated with amazement. Their physical bodies and belongings will be left behind, where only a shade remains. The Fool 📔 Major Arcana | New Beginnings • Leap of Faith • Dreamer | After cutting the ties to his bed, The Fool begins a voyage into the unknown. A burdensome anvil and coarse ropes attempt to anchor The Fool to the room’s confines. The Fool, in a liminal state between sleep and consciousness, is guided by an unseen force into the mist. With a dream journal in hand, he is ready to document his experiences. The Fool will undergo a grand transformation and forge his role within The Somnia Tarot.   Happy April Fools’ Day! Instead of playing tricks today, let’s spend it exploring a newfound hobby, interest, or journey. There is ample reward in assuming the role of a beginner, and we can all benefit from a dose of humility. I hope you have an amazing start to spring!

Today is the second anniversary of The Somnia Tarot’s launch! 🎂 This series was brought to life in 2021 by an incredible group of individuals from around the world. I cannot be more thankful for your support. This spring, I will finally be set up in my new art studio, where I will begin creating the expansion series of 40+ new photographs. After months without a studio, I am incredibly eager to create new artwork. In the meantime, here are some exciting updates:  - I’ve received the final physical copy of The Somnia Tarot: Illustrated Edition, and it looks awesome! I sent approval to the press, and the decks will be arriving this summer. 
- I’ve opened up an experimental project titled “Intuitive Tarot Cards” where you can choose/submit a prompt to me, and I will sketch a custom card in the loose style of my dream journal recordings. Each card will directly aid the creation of The Somnia Tarot Expansion Series. 
- I created four handmade candle designs in collaboration with and that are inspired by my Illustrated series. They’re now available in my store! 
- Be on the lookout for screenings of my latest short film “The Fear Cycle”! I will be sharing a screening schedule very soon.

Death 🏵️ Major Arcana | Transition • Morality • Reinvention | Emerging from the ocean’s endless mist is the messenger of Death, mounted upon a pale white horse. Dressed in ghostly linens, both the horse and rider arrive from the unknown. They are prepared to es**rt us toward a new beginning, ensuring that the old chapters of our lives are left behind. A black flag, which bears a white rose, signifies the purity of death and the resurrection that follows it. The Death card is often feared and misunderstood. The Tower 🏰 Major Arcana | Disruption • Catastrophe • Upheaval | The Tower represents catastrophic disruption to routine and the abandonment of truths that were once held with certainty. A house, which indicates security and foundation, bursts into flames upon the character’s back. Even in disarray, the character is determined to carry the load forward, no matter the conditions. The surf surrounding the character may represent the residual trauma that surfaces under the pressures of our waking lives. Although this abrupt shift of routine is alarming, there is opportunity to extinguish the blaze and start anew. - Nicolas Bruno, The Somnia Tarot Companion Book
