Dan Noble Makes History with 11 Win Night
Story by Kenny Livengood

In a performance that could go down as one of the greatest driving nights in harness racing history, Dan Noble set a new all-time single-card record at Northfield Park by capturing 11 races on the Saturday night (May 3rd) card.

Noble’s milestone evening began with a victory in Race 2 behind Coz I’m Special (Cory Deyermand). After a brief pause, he launched into an unprecedented streak. Noble won 10 consecutive races, sweeping Races 4 through 13 in a display of dominance.

The historic win streak included victories with Ember Lynn (Rocky Loney), Dancin Suzy (Crist Hershberger), Kant Katch Kenzie (Jessica Millner), No Turbulence (Rocky Loney), You Fear Me (Renae Loney), Survivin Fire (Lorie Davis), Uptown Hanover (Cory Deyermand), Ponda Diamond (John Oliverio), Mt Camas (Herman Hagerman), and Sweet Illousion (Lionel Watiker).

As part of the streak, Noble took down both featured events with Mt Camas dominating the Hunter Myers Memorial Series Final for $20,000 with a 7-length score and Sweet Illosuion winning the $20,000 Filly and Mare Open Pace from post 8 while never seeing the rail. It truly showed Noble was pushing all the right buttons with all his drives.

With the performance, Noble surpasses the previous single-card record of 10 wins, a mark he had already matched twice in November and December. Prior to Noble’s achievement, the 10-win benchmark had been shared by notable drivers including Walter Case Jr(twice), Greg Grismore, Aaron Merriman, and Brett Miller.

Noble now stands alone as the first driver in Northfield Park history to record 11 wins on a single race card, setting a new standard of excellence at the half-mile oval.
