Lessons from Center Stage:
โBeing at Center Stage has taught me so much more than just dance. Itโs taught me discipline, confidence, how to express myself, and how to push myself even when things get hard. Iโve also learned what it really means to be part of a team. The people I dance with arenโt just teammates, theyโve become a second family. Weโve gone through so much together, and that connection is something Iโll carry with me forever. More than anything, Center Stage has taught me resilience. Itโs taught me how to handle pressure, how to grow from criticism, and how to keep believing in myself even when things donโt go the way I hoped. Iโm so grateful for everything itโs given me, because itโs made me stronger, more confident, and more passionate about what I love.โ
Summer plans:
โIโm honestly excited to just be outside, tan, and spend time with my friends before I go to college. Iโm really looking forward to going on vacation, relaxing, and making memories. Also, of course, nationals. After all the hard work this season, Iโm so ready to step on that stage, give it everything I have, and experience the feeling of accomplishment with my team. Itโs something Iโve been pushing for all year, and Iโm just excited to soak in every second of it as itโs the last time dancing with my CSDS fam.โ
Brooke:
๐น Years at Center Stage: 2
๐น Favorite Style of Dance: Contemporary & Hip Hop
๐น Graduating from Laurel School
๐น Plans to attend Chapman University, pursuing a BFA in Dance
Lessons from Center Stage:
โI have learned how to grow into a strong leader through having the opportunity to be an All-Stars Captain this year, as well as being blessed enough to have the comfort and freedom to be able to confidently use my voice. The teachers have taught me discipline and have given me the tools to pursue a successful dance career in my future. With that, I have also regained my passion for dance. In all, Center Stage has taught me what itโs like to have a loving community and a family that I know will forever have my back.โ
Summer plans:
โI am super excited to spend my last nationals with my team in Las Vegas and enjoy hanging out with my friends and family during my last summer before heading to college.โ

โI am excited to attend my very last ever dance nationals with the team I love so much and also to travel to Europe!โ
