Spinning Retreat July 25 - 26, 2026

Time again for our once a year Spinning Retreat! We have some great deals for you. 9 - 5 both days.

I will have 15% off store wide products excluding Ashford products, the discontinued rack, charity rack, the project bags and some of the Alk&me products.

You will have access to the carding equipment to create your own blends. Bring some of your own fibers and blend with some new ones. With that being said, if you happen to have a blending board or hand carders and are not opposed to letting us have use for the weekend, could you please bring them with you?

If you have any fibers you want to swap/trade with others, this is a great time to do that.

Kris will be offering a technique or two during the weekend. I am sure if you see something someone else is working on and you are wanting to know how it is being done, that person will be more than happy to share that information with you. Just ask. We share our knowledge.

We will have dinner on Saturday after we finish for the day and this year, as in the past, we will be supporting a small business restaurant. Casa D'Angelo's in Macedonia. Let me know if you are going to join us.

Round Seat Cushions July 24, 2026 5 - 8

Furthering our peg loom skills, let’s tackle round things! During the class, students will learn how to warp, begin and continue weaving, along with finishing out one or more round seat cushions.

Peg looms will be available to use during the class, and a variety will also be available for sale.

Beginner-Advanced level class

Class size: 10 people max, 3 people min

Material to complete 2 round 18” seat cushions will be provided in the class.

Workshop fee: $85.00
Materials cost: $25.00 A variety of colors will be available to choose from.
