finished this calf piece for Kaley! This piece is a depiction of the Slavic Rusalka; a female water spirit often seen as malicious towards mankind. Within paganism they were considered to be helpful nature spirits that brought growth and rain for crops. It wasn’t until the introduction of Christianity to the area that the Rusalka’s reputation turned sinister.
Kaley plans to get an entire leg sleeve of feminine folklore entities and I can’t wait to continue adding to it! 🤭

Added a fourth kitty for Jenna 💕 we also did a little touch up on the portrait right above the new one since that one pokes out from her tshirt sleeve and got more sun exposure. Aside from a few touch ups to the third one the top three cats are almost 2 years healed!

Still so over the moon with how this past weekend at Fort Wayne Tattoo Fest went! On Friday Cyne Art & Tattoo Studio won the Best Booth award💕 I really invested into our booth setup & experience this year and I’m glad that it has paid off!
Then on Saturday my tattoo on Lexus Fauble won first place in Fresh Medium Black & Grey and then Tattoo of the Day! I’m so honored to be surrounded by so much local talent and make new friends in the industry. I met so many artists that overflow with talent & creativity, it was so neat to be in that room alongside them all weekend. We have been to several tattoo conventions and Fort Wayne is definitely our favorite by far. We are so excited for next year!
Tattooing is my dream and living it every day is such a blessing. I’m so grateful to be where I am in my career.

Thank you Fort Wayne Tattoo Festival for having us! It was a blast!
