Jokes aside, life is very full right now.
I’m incredibly grateful to be tattooing as much as I am. I get to create, learn, grow, and connect with people for a living, which is still pretty wild when I think about it.
But when I’m not in the studio, I’m usually home with my three girls, trying to be present, keep up with family life, take care of myself, spend time with my husband, and generally pretend I have some idea what I’m doing.
So yes, sometimes I take too long to text back. I forget to post tattoos I was genuinely SO excited about. I open a message, respond to it entirely in my head, and realize three days later that apparently that does not count.
I’m still figuring out how to balance artist, business owner, wife, mom, and regular human without dropping at least one ball.
And part of figuring that out means making some changes.
My weekday tattoo hours are officially shifting to daytime so I can work while my girls are at school and have more of my evenings back with my family.
It’s a change, and I know it’ll take a little adjusting, but I’m really excited about what this next season could look like.
If you’re already booked with me during a weekday evening, keep an eye on your messages. I’ll be reaching out and working through those appointments with everyone.
I don’t think I’ll ever have the whole “balance” thing figured out, but I’m really grateful these are the things filling my life.
Lots of tattoos. Lots of family. Lots of figuring it out as I go.
Anyway, here’s some life + tattoos lately because apparently I’ve been much better at living it than posting it.
