Lucinda and her pony, Cloud, in oils on canvas. Put several pictures together and made up the background. I started this months ago and just couldn’t bring myself to finish it. Finally decided to just finish it today. This was a hard painting not just because we miss Cloud but because i decided to try something new. A thicker more impressionistic style which is harder for my realistic brain to put down. I think it turned out great though for my first time. What do you think?

I create hand-painted gouache portraits from photos, with a special love for horses and farm animals. Each piece is painted traditionally on paper and made to be a meaningful keepsake.
