To all my families and those that follow my page,

Some days, I wake up with a heavy heart, a heart that feels the weight of a broken world upon my shoulders and a heart that finds it hard to imagine singing and dancing. As I have watched the news this week, I ponder, "How can I sing? How can I dance? Then I think of the children whom we love, who can not fully grasp the levels of hardship in this world, who we want to raise to be informed, kind, conscientious citizens of the world. So, how can I sing? How can I dance? I sing for the joy that I feel with every smile and giggle and every bit of kindness and strength. I sing to celebrate life, and while not ignoring the pain around me, I sing to tell myself that it's worth it. Our kids are worth it; they're the reason we sing. I also know that art and music and literature elevate us and help us not only to appreciate beauty but also help to improve our moods. So....let's keep singing 💕💕💕
