Many steps have been taken to open "Rain or Shine" but unfortunately we're not quite all the way there yet. For reasons unknown, Halloween electronics don't get the same respect to outdoor conditions as any outdoor Christmas decoration gets.

First time trying the "Squirrel Carving" technique this year.
1 Medium to large sized Pumpkin, sugar free or simple ingredients natural peanut butter, an ice cream scoop and a spatula. Just waiting for the squirrels to do their part and will update with a new pic in a few days.

"Last Minute Decision" made but Spyntinglin Manor will be closed tonight (Tuesday), Wednesday & Thursday based on this week's forecast. Wet weather is already starting here in Scituate. Need to button everything up NOW so that we'll hopefully be done with the wet weather by Friday morning in time for the Halloween festivities.

Closed Tonight: Monday 10/20... and I HATE posting that.

A substantial amount of rain this morning with more rain due Tuesday night into Wednesday morning just doesn't make sense to uncover everything, only to cover it all back up 30 hours from now.

For perspective, it takes about 2+ hours to cover everything up, another 2 hours to uncover and prep after a storm such as the one this morning.

To note, there are TONS of other local Haunts throughout the region and can be found via the FrightMaps app (see screenshot) and/or WPRI 12's Halloween listing on their website. In the meantime, show them some love and we'll be up and running at full capacity Wednesday evening at 6:00 pm. ✌🏻♥️🎃

UGH! 🤬Lingering electrical issues from the Nor'easter are preventing from a full Lighting tonight. Still working on drying out a few more things and we'll be fully operational on Thursday evening.

THANK YOU to Kim Kalunian and WPRI 12 for promoting us and MANY other Home Haunts throughout Southern New England. We had a few bumps & bruises this week to get the indoor portion back up and running but a HUGELY successful Saturday Night. Lots of visitors & lots of smiles!✌🏻🎃♥️

Due to further necessary and UNEXPECTED repairs to our furnace, the INDOOR portion of our display will NOT be accessible Friday evening 🤬
The outdoor display will not be affected.

Both INDOOR and OUTDOOR displays WILL be accessible SATURDAY evening.
