Whenever I'm with my curly-haired redhead in public she inevitably gets the "oh you have wonderful hair!" comment. And she really, really does. And some mornings I just wish she could finally manage it on her own like our other two can with their straighter locks. But mostly, mostly, I love that it gives us time together and it will for a long time to come.

Winter is coming...

Any other winter lovers out there? Honestly I love all the seasons, and love living in a place where I get to experience them all in their full glory. But winter holds a special place in my heart. There is just something so fascinating about it. The stark beauty? The inherent danger? Whatever it is, I adore it. ❄
