The next Royalton Players murder mystery is Who Killed Q? A 007 Murder Mystery which is set for May 15 at Amici's Party Center in North Royalton. Q was the mastermind of all the gadgets in the James Bond world and now someone did him in. Was it one of James Bond's villains? Or one of James Bond girls? Or possibly someone who worked with James Bond and Q? Or even James Bond himself? Further information and tickets are now on sale by contacting the Royalton Players Box Office at 440-877-0009. Batman Slayed in Latest Royalton Players Murder Mystery

The Cape Crusader is slayed in the Royalton Players second murder mystery of the season, which will be held on March 20 beginning at 7 pm at Amici's Italian Restaurant and Party Center. “Who Killed the Batman? A Super Villain's Murder Mystery” will be held with several well-known suspects.
The luck of the famed Cape Crusader has run out, and several suspects include The Joker, Poison Ivy, Catwoman and Harley Quinn along with several other famous villains,” said Royalton Players President Chuck Poliafico, who is portraying Gotham Police Commissioner Jim Gordon for the event.
The murder mystery is being written and directed by Scott Maynard, who has appeared in almost 50 murder mysteries for the theater as well as a variety of Royalton Players musical, comedies and dramatic shows during the past 15 years. Maynard, who will be portraying one of the suspects, had also served as musical director for the theater.
In addition to Maynard and Poliafico, several others in the show include Hannah Maynard, Mary Smith, Judy Giroski and Paula Riggs.
The event includes the murder mystery, which is interactive with the audience, as well as a full-course dinner and grand prizes. Doors open at 6:30 pm and tickets must be purchased before the event. No tickets will be sold at the doors. Tickets are $55 each.

The Royalton Players is kicking off its first show of the season with a power couples murder mystery. "Who Killed Cupid? A Power Couples Murder Mystery" will be held February 20 beginning at 7 pm at Amici's Italian Restaurant and Party Center.
Tickets and season passes are now available to the event.
"We are once again murdering Cupid for the season, but this time around it is one of five power couples including Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, George and Amal Clooney, President Donald Trump and Melania, Prince Harry and Megan Markle, and Hilliary Clinton," said Royalton Players President Chuck Poliafico, who is also the director and writer of the event.
"We are going to have with this event, while we keep politics out of it," Poliafico added. "The nine suspects are crazy enough without making this political."
Those portraying the suspects include Judy Giroski, Chuck Javorsky, Tom Doyle, Mary Manos Mitchem, Scott Maynard, Hannah Maynard, Joey Krsak, Toni Zegarelli, and Paula Riggs. Poliafico will be assisted by Mary Smith, who will also serve as the basket and 50/50 raffle chairperson.
Doors open at 6:30 pm and tickets must be purchased before the event. No tickets will be sold at the doors. Tickets are $55 each and includes a full course dinner, table prizes and grand prizes to the winning table. Season passes are also available at $275, which includes the purchase of five shows and receiving the sixth show for free.
"The season pass is the only discount that we do for the season," Poliafico said.

Royalton Player Announces 2026 Season of Murder Mysteries

The Royalton Players recently announced its 2026 Season of murder mysteries that includes six events between February and October.

"This is our season of fun with plenty of laughs," said Royalton Players President Chuck Poliafico. "Coming off a dismal year in politics and with a sour economy, we wanted to provide our audiences a good time while they are attempting to guess who the murderers are in each production."

The season kicks off February 20th with Who Killed Cupid? A Power Couples Murder Mystery. "We are murdering the Love God once again, but this time the suspects are all famous power couples including Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Donald and Melania Trump, as well as George and Amal Clooney. Also, Hillary Clinton is a suspect even though her husband is nowhere around."

The season continues with Who Killed the Batman? A Supervillains Murder Mystery on March 20; Who Murdered Q? A 007 Murder Mystery on May 15; The Price is Wrong. A TV Game Show Murder Mystery on June 19; and a Stand-Up Comic's Murder Mystery on September 15.

The final event is It's the Great Pumpkin Halloween Murder Mystery Charlie Brown, which will be held on two nights, October 16 and 17. "We did a two-night event this past October for the first time, and it was very successful," Poliafico said. "There was a different murderer for each night. It was a lot of fun."

According to Poliafico, ticket prices for the events are also not changing. A season pass is $275, which includes five shows at the $55 price and getting the sixth show for free. Single tickets will also remain at $55, just like last year, he said.

"The season pass is the only discount we offer all year," he added. "It really is a great value for everything that comes with the event."
The murder mysteries are going to be held at Amici's Italian Restaurant and Party Center.

"Dinners are going to be more of a variety for each event and we are attempting to make it easier to obtain coffee, water and pop for these murder mysteries," Poliafico said. "It is always a learning event for us."
