✨ Senior Spotlight: Maddy Pierce✨

Maddy began her journey in dance when she was 3 years old and came to CBC at age 13. She will be attending Seton Hill University in the fall and studying Dance and Biology.
During high school she has been involved in the Health Sciences Honors Program, the National Honor Society, the National Art Honor Society, leading retreats, and volunteering with Youth Challenge and Opening Minds Through Art. Some of her dance accomplishments are placing in the Top 12 for the small group category twice with her duet partner Maya at YAGP and placing 3rd in the senior category at Ètoile.
Her favorite memory at CBC is the 20th anniversary performance because hearing all the alumni cheer for her and her friends while they danced was truly unforgettable. She'd like to thank all of her teachers for constantly pushing her to work harder and be the best version of herself that she can be and her school friends and family members for always showing up and cheering the loudest at her performances. Lastly, what she's loved the most at CBC is the loving and caring community that took her in and is letting her go with friends that became family who have shaped her into the person she is today.

What's your favorite part about dancing at CBC?
"“My favorite thing about dancing at CBC is having a safe place to dance and feel comfortable. I enjoy being able to work my hardest and feel supported by my classmates and teachers. My favorite part of the season is watching everyone perform on stage and to see all the hard work being shown.”
