What a weekend at Waukesha!

Congratulations to Maggie on completing her Beginner card and moving up to Novice!

We also had some dancers compete for the first time - a job well done to Rowan and Ellen! Ellen received the aggregate trophy for her age group on Saturday 🏆 Todd, one of our dance dads, won the Parent Pas de Bas competition 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Congratulations to all of our dancers who achieved goals this weekend, received medals, ribbons, and trophies, and made new friends. We also had a wonderful workshop with our judge, Cathie Peitzsch-Gibbs.

The Chicago Scots invited our junior choreography team to perform at their Robert Burns event held at the Driehaus Museum this evening. They are in the process of rededicating the Robert Burns statue in Garfield Park and we created a choreography to some of Burns’ well-known songs such as Auld Lang Syne, Scots Wha’Hae, and Comin’ Thro’ the Rye. A special thank you to Scott McCawley for piping us in.

A job well done by Lizzie, Hadley, Maggie, and Sadie at the Honor Flight Chicago. This was one of the best ones yet!

We had such a great time making the annual trip to the Illinois State Fair to dance with our friends from the Ogilvy Dancers and Dance Caledonia!
