Anything Goes is set aboard the ocean liner S. S. American, where nightclub singer/evangelist Reno Sweeney is en route from New York to England. Her pal Billy Crocker has stowed away to be near his love, Hope Harcourt, but the problem is Hope is engaged to the wealthy Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. Joining this love triangle on board the luxury liner are Public Enemy #13, Moonface Martin and his sidekick-in-crime Bonnie. With the help of some elaborate disguises, tap-dancing sailors and good old-fashioned blackmail, Reno and Martin join forces to help Billy in his quest to win Hope’s heart.

One more day until Godspell! Our cast and crew have worked so hard on this production and it has really turned out great! We cannot wait for everyone to see it! The showtimes are tomorrow (Saturday the 21st) at 7 pm, Sunday at 2 pm, and Monday at 7 pm! Tickets can be bought at the door for $12 for adults and $10 for students or they can be bought online at https://birdvilleisd.revtrak.net/tek9.asp?pg=products&grp=16

Good Morning! If you haven't heard...

We just found out our nominations through the Betty Buckley Awards yesterday afternoon for this year’s musical, Beauty and the Beast. We were nominated for:

Best Musical
Best Leading Actress for Belle, Kayla Jefferies
Beat Supporting Actor, Lumiere, Clay Morgan
Best Orchestra
Beast Scenic Design, Hondo Garcia
Best Costume Design, Elizabeth Allison
Best Sound Design, Rachel Waddell

CONGRATULATIONS to all involved in this success! This would not be possible without all of the students, directors, parents, and volunteers hard work! We will be performing a produciton number at the Awards NIght on May 19th. Ticket informaiton will be made available soon. Also, a shout out to Haltom Theatre who was also nominated for Best Musical and Birdville Theatre who was nominated for Best Play! :)

Please join us this Tuesday, March 22nd at 7:00 pm in the RHS Auditorium for a public performance of this year's UIL One Act Play selection, Epic Proportions. The performance is free (although we do encourage donations) and the performance time is only 40 minutes. We look forward to seeing you there!
